Advocacy & Community Engagement in Research (ACER) program

What? The ACER program fosters meaningful, collaborative relationships between PROMISE researchers and individuals and families with lived experience of pediatric and young adult cancer. These collaborations guide our work from early discovery to real-world application.

Why? Meaningful engagement with Pediatric and AYA Cancer Experience (PACE) partners strengthens our translational research by shaping questions, approaches, and outcomes that truly matter to young patients and their families.
